Recipe For Grilled Oysters

Oysters are usually made within 10 minutes when cooked over high heat. Use your slow cooker to make this oyster stew easy, tell it and forget that it only uses a few simple ingredients. Add chopped chives or green onions for a tasty side dish, or go up with a little half and a half for an even creamier broth. Use a large-rimmed baking sheet to keep the oysters in half the shell. Fold a large sheet of aluminum foil (it should be about 1 1/2 times larger than the baking sheet) and place it on the baking sheet. Aluminum foil holds oysters in place so they don’t lose any of their delicious juices, also known as spirits. Lightly beat 2 eggs together in a separate bowl. Drain 12 ounces of crumbled oysters and dredge them into the egg mixture. Cover evenly and thickly, but remove excess flour.
